Blue Yeti Microphone Unboxing (Blackout Edition)

Firstly I noticed the weight of the microphone and the build quality. It looks and feels great weighing in at over 3 pounds. On the front, you have a physical mute switch and monitor knob (to control the volume in your headphones). On the bottom, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-usb port. As well as a thread for mounting the microphone on an arm. I use this arm: https://amzn.to/31AvAuC (but if you can afford a nicer one go for it, the Yeti might be a bit too heavy to be great on this arm).
On the backside is the gain knob, gain is the sensitivity of the microphone. I recommend leaving the gain on the lowest possible setting and being as close to the mic as possible when recording voiceovers.
The micro USB cable is included but keep in mind it's regular USB so if you have a new Macbook you'll need a USB to USB-C adapter or hub. I use this one:https://amzn.to/3weoZ7e
