Ho Ho Ho!
The last of a series of 22 original development diaries early in On Your Hands' Development. This was made, I believe, right around Christmas of 2021.
Spawning the purple collider over and over was really stupid, actually, and incredibly wasteful. Luckily, the new system is far more stable.
Another thing that was really stupid was the system for boxes dropping. They now autowarp to your hand if they can, or get stuck otherwise, which surprise surprise was even more work on my part. A lot more usable though.
The game's look is improved from how it previously was by a lot, though it's still not at the level it'd eventually get to. I'm kinda nostalgic for this, though. I spent a LOT of time with the game looking like this.
