Tracking Drums in Midi Course Pts. 6.3 & 4 - Drum Fills for Bridge and Finalé
A 7-part series walking you through how to create your own drum tracks in midi. Working in Logic Pro X (but can be applied to Garageband or others) we take a piece of music, create a main beat, add variations, fills, and a finalé. We focus on how to analyze the rhythm, find the natural accent, add complexity with velocity, grace and ghost notes and the techniques to fit the beat into the pocket of a song.
