Creo 11 introduces full multibody support for bodies in the “Sheet Metal” category including the ability to unbend and create flat patterns for multiple “Sheet Metal” bodies. The video illustrates how the flattening related tools are enhanced to support multibody workflows, including the new Flat Pattern Manager.
There are several new config options related to this enhancement: smt_flat_instance_name_format to specify the naming format for family table instances of the flat pattern; smt_flat_simp_rep_name_format to specify the naming format for flat pattern simplified representations; and smt_flat_inst_index that removes gaps in index numbers of flat pattern Family Table instance names.
