yes! the long awaited Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera is in our hands. Even though we dont have the lenses to release its full potential but you can already see the difference in quality through the shitty canon dslr lens.
All the footages were taken on BRAW constant quality (q5 compression) and gosh the technology speaks, even super dark footages are totally usable combining with Davinci's temporal noise reduction. It's just chef's kiss what this camera can do!
Hand held 6k footages gets cropped accordingly to the amount of shake in the recording while stabilizing with built in GYRO data. The crop doesnt even matter when you have so much resolution! Just need a sharp clean ultrawide lens!
Speaking about the feeling of holding a cunky boi as it is. It feels so fking great. Unlike sony's shitty marketing of having a small camera for better handling is totally bullcrap. Holding this big boi feels awesome. The grip feels so goood, and it just sticks with your grip and hand, all the buttons are well placed and feels good to press.
The touchscreen is a blessing in this era of 1500 dollar external monitors.
The power to shoot directly in the super fast m.2 SSD is blessing to the power infinity. I just shot everything and copied them to me internal m.2 and the 10gb per minute footage runs buttery smooth in real time even with heavy grade and denoising!
