MTB Trick Tutorials - http://bit.ly/subscribe-riders. Today, Sergei Matovykh will teach you how to do a manual 180 on a bike. You can practice this trick on a flat surface or on a tabletop. To learn the manual 180, you'll need basic balance skills on a bike.

Executing the trick depends on proper footwork and the correct arc from which you'll perform the 180. At a slow speed, lift the front wheel and enter the arc sharply. When the jump is comfortable, perform a regular one-eyed bunnyhop. Once you've mastered the trick reliably, try increasing the arc distance covered with the manual. Now you can move on to performing the trick on a tabletop.

A manual is riding on the rear wheel without pedaling. This means you simply lift the front wheel off the ground, shift your body weight back, and balance with your legs, holding the bike in that position. Wheelie balancing is a basic trick and can be learned on any level surface. As soon as the bike loses control and starts to spin out from under you, carefully dismount. If you're going fast, you can even let go of the bike completely—it's safer.
