2) The Danger of "Convenient" Religion.
They wanted a god they could see and food that required no work. When we only follow faith when it is easy or "visible," we fail the test of the desert.
3) "Sitting" is a Sentence.
When they told Musa (AS) they would "sit" while he fought, Allah gave them exactly what they asked for: forty years of sitting in the desert. Your refusal to step forward today might be the reason you are stuck in a loop tomorrow.
4) Boredom is Ungratefulness.
They grew tired of the best food (Manna and Quail) and asked for onions and cucumbers. When we stop feeling the weight of a blessing, we are already inviting its removal.
