C.S. Lewis on Voting
We’re surrounded by voices urging us to see each election as the answer to our deepest hopes and fears. But C.S. Lewis saw politics differently. For him, politics had clear limitations, and he approached the question of voting and leadership with a sense of caution—and realism. He saw a significant problem in how we view elections: we often expect politics to solve issues it was never designed to address.
