Third encounter I had with a bear while staying in the eastern High Sierras
We are staying at the Double Eagle resort in June Lake, CA. Two days ago, in the middle of the day, I ran across this bear crossing the dirt path near our cabin. I got some zoom pics of him as he was leaving.
Early this morning, I was riding my bicycle and I heard a big commotion behind the restaurant at our resort. I saw this huge brown shape vault the fence and gallop away.
I continued my ride and a few minutes later, it ran across the road in front of me.
A minute later, I captured this video. Since big brown was heading my way, I got back on my bike and ride off at maximum warp.
