Pixel Watch (WearOS App) - Nail Bite Detect-inator

I’m excited to share a cool project I’ve been working on: Nail Bite Detector! 🕵️♂️💅
This app, built for my Google Pixel Watch, uses the accelerometer to detect sneaky nail-biting moments. When it senses the motion, it gently buzzes and asks if you just bit your nails.
Awareness is the first step after all. 🤓☝️
✨ Key Features:
1/ Motion Detection: Uses the accelerometer (9.8 m/s²) to detect nail-biting gestures.
2/ Haptic Feedback: Vibrates when it senses a bite.
3/ Self-Check Prompt: Asks you to confirm or deny the bite, helping you track your behavior.
This project is inspired by an assignment in my neuropsychology course, where I’m exploring behavioral change. Big thanks to Prof. Randi Doyle for giving us the space to better ourselves, and for indirectly giving me the chance to (finally!) learn Android development through this project!
