»Otmorozki« stands for the irredeemable children who were born as the Soviet Union collapsed and have grown up in the criminal 90s. At the start of the new millennium the »Otmorozki« have taken to the streets and are fighting for justice. They encounter their first experiences of love, death and betrayal. They are bristling with energy and want to commandeer a position in life. The protagonist Grisha asks himself as everyone does: »Who am I? Am I evil? Good? Reliable? Despicable? There is no mirror in which you could see your own image. It's as if it has been crushed by a boot.«
