Most SuiteSync workflows automate payment collection, application, reconciliation, etc. However, there are cases where payment information needs to be collected manually (phone or in-person).
SuiteSync's Embed feature is designed to support these manual workflows. You’ll enter the card information after the SalesOrder is created through a “plugin” that is installed in your NetSuite account. This allows for much faster card processing (you don’t need to wait for a SalesOrder to save to ensure the card can be charged)

If you are accepting payments over the phone or using another manual process, the SuiteSync Payment Plugin makes manually paying invoices or sales orders easy. The Plugin can use a new card, a saved card or a bank account.
Let’s walk through a couple of examples.
First, in NetSuite, open an existing unpaid invoice and go to the billing tab to use the SuiteSync Payment Plugin. Here you can enter the credit card information for the customer and pay off the invoice.
If you click on the “Save card for future use” button, the card information saves in Stripe. If the customer saves a card in another checkout system or billing portal, the cards appear in this drop-down menu.
If you enter an invalid credit card number or a failing credit card, SuiteSync instantly gives detailed information about what went wrong. If Stripe determines a payment is risky, SuiteSync displays a warning here. Additionally, you can completely customize Stripe’s fraud rules to your business.
After you submit a successful payment, SuiteSync creates a payment and applies it to the invoice. In the Related Records tab, you can see the payment posts to the undeposited funds account. The payment is later deposited automatically.
All of these payment records are reflected in your Stripe account with the invoice details from NetSuite. This creates a clear link between the Stripe & NetSuite records.
This Plugin works not only for credit cards but also for ACH payments or other payment methods.
You can use this payment plugin for Sales Orders with or without an authorization step. It can also be used for one-off customer payments.
When Stripe sends a batch payment to your bank, SuiteSync automatically reconciles the payments contained in the payout to a bank deposit in NetSuite and calculates any processing fees.
The manual process of matching individual transactions to a bank deposit, calculating fees, and handling currency conversion disappears. No other integration can fully automate this reconciliation.
SuiteSync also has a Payment Page link that can be sent to customers to pay off invoices or sales orders on their own. Check out our other videos or visit our website to set up a free test account.
