Cheap or Free Seed Starting Container Hacks to Use Now!
Are you itching to get started growing seedlings but need some cheap or free seed starting containers? This video will go through the uses for various types of containers made from things around the house! There really is no need to purchase expensive cells and trays in order to be successful at indoor sowing and seed starting. The important part is the seed and the soil! Other than the challenges of transplanting tender root vegetables (beets, carrots, etc...-watch my video on soil blocks for those plants!!), choosing a container to start seeds in is not rocket science. Teaching your kids to be resourceful, having a use for all the things we collect around the house (toilet paper tubes are everywhere!!!), and saving money - which is an important reason why we start seeds indoors - is invaluable.
