For the new hybrid module, ZF combines its established ZF 3300 PTI transmission or other hybrid-capable transmissions of its broad portfolio with an application-specific electric motor. Thanks to its support frame, it saves installation space and simplifies installation. In addition, it facilitates the maintenance of the e-motor. This is particularly beneficial in the design of yachts and ferries, where every square inch of available space counts.
