যে দল যতবার বিশ্বকাপ জিতবে, সেদলের জার্সিতে লোগোর উপরে ততটি স্টার বা তারকা থাকবে। এবার নিয়ে আর্জেন্টিনা তিনবার বিশ্বকাপ জিতলো তাই এখন থেকে জার্সিতে তিনটি তারকা লাগানো হবে।
কাতার বিশ্বকাপে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার পর আর্জেন্টিনা জাতীয় দল কোন ম্যাচ খেলেননি । তিন তারকা সংবলিত জার্সিতে খেলবেন বলে কাতার বিশ্বকাপ শেষেই অবসর নেননি এই আর্জেন্টাইন অধিনায়ক। আনহেল দি মারিয়ার জন্যও গল্পটা একই বলা যায়।
