This video takes you through the full process of setting up your gradebook in Google Sheets. I use it to incorporate standardised data from CAT or INCAS scores that then allows me to benchmark class results to determine whether a pupil is making good progress.
I then like to use functions such as average and conditional formatting to easily identify progress, and average totals.
Further additional functions supplied by Google sheets are the "Rank" function that allows you to rank the results in order. I can then use this along side"Sparkline" that puts a small graph into a cell at the start of the markbook.
If you have any questions or observations then please get back to me.
