Dauntless patch 1.6.2 adds aethersparks/reforging changes, Elder Behemoths, a Faction Future path and Warpike bug fixes and quality of life changes!
You no longer have to reforge your level 20 weapon in order to get an aetherheart! You can no reforge 200 aethersparks in order to get one aetherheart.
200 Aethersparks = 1 Aetherhearts.
Aetherspark = Reforging
Aetherhearts = Power Surging
The Dauntless developers have doubled the amount of aethersparks needed to trade for a aetherhearts and it makes no sense to me.
How to get Aethersparks:
In Dauntless, Aethersparks can be earned from your daily coin flip, hunting ground events, patrol chests, mastery rewards, hunt pass rewards and you can buy them from the Dauntless in-game store.
How to get Aetherhearts:
In Dauntless, Aetherhearts are used to power surge weapons and armour.
Reforging a level 20 weapon compresses aethersparks into an aetherheart.
