Behind the Hoeamsa Temple site are the stupas of three eminent monks: Seon Master Jigong, Seon Master Naong, and Great Master Muhak.
It is a place renowned as an auspicious site because it was selected by Great Master Muhak at the command of Yi Seong-gye.
However, during the late Joseon Dynasty, an incident occurred in which the stupas were removed from that place, which was famous as an auspicious site, and a grave was built there for his own father.
