PARA-BADMINTON, A JOURNEY OF OVERCOMING
The documentary 'Para-Badminton, a Journey of Overcoming Challenges' explores the experiences of several members of the Spanish national para-badminton team from their beginnings in the sport. It also chronicles the evolution of the sport in Spain in another area: the organization of international para-badminton events.
In addition to featuring testimonials from athletes such as Cristina Sánchez de Lechina, Paco Motero, and Iván Segura, as well as the national para-badminton coordinator, who assesses the sporting progress of Spanish badminton players, the documentary also examines the advancements made in recent years thanks to the organization of the Spanish International Para-Badminton Championships in the Balearic Islands, the Region of Murcia, the Basque Country, and Castilla-La Mancha.
Badminton is one of the featured sports this Christmas on Teledeporte. Proof of this is that, in addition to the recent broadcast of the documentary 'The Badminton Warriors, from the CAR in Madrid to the European Championship', and the upcoming broadcast of 'The Mothers of Badminton' on Christmas Eve, RTVE's thematic channel will also broadcast the report 'Para-Badminton, a journey of overcoming' on Christmas morning.
