The Sunset Lounge, formerly known as BRIX in Sunset Beach, has just painted their building to look like a sunset. Local Artist Melissa Murphy has spent the past 2 months painting the colorful facade on the front of the building, and she is about to start a large mermaid on the beach side.

However, The City of Huntington Beach posted a code violation on their website for the BRIX building, claiming:
Large mural painted on building without an approved administrative permit. Address numbers no longer visible.

The Easter Bunny is coming to Huntington Beach starting this weekend and you know you wanna get a picture. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Noon-6pm at the Bella Terra shopping center. Walk-ups are $12, but you can make an appointment online and skip to the front for $20.
