How to Install and Use Scripts in Adobe Illustrator (SO Easy!)
A beginning tutorial on how to install and use scripts in Adobe Illustrator. To run a script, select artwork, go to the File menu, choose Scripts and then choose installed scripts from the list, or choose Other Script... to locate a script file on your system.
Make sure to install your script in the Illustrator Application folder for your current version of Illustrator. Go to Presets and then Scripts and add the script file to the folder (you will need to type in your admin password). Restart Illustrator to select the script from the File - Scripts menu.
