He Was Martyred at 80 Years Old
Born in England to a prominent Catholic family, St. John Kemble was ordained a priest in 1625 and served as a missionary priest for 53 years. Despite being 80 years old, he was arrested during the Popish Plot of 1678 and executed for being a Catholic priest.
