Phil's Ride 2022 The Sahara Desert
On the 5th of November David Beeton, two of his sons Jack and Lewis, plus a great friend of the family Ben Layn will be walking 66 miles of the Sahara Desert in 35-40 degrees representing Phil's Ride who support East Anglian Air Ambulance.
This was a special task for David personally as walking with Jack who had to learn to walk again and Lewis who had to deal with the mental stress since the RTC in 2015, was a great (but hard) experience.

"Phil's Ride" is an independent group of people who put on fund raising events throughout the year, some of them sane and simple, some completely mad, who raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA). Phil's Ride came about due to the EAAA attending a Road Traffic Collinson in 2015 in which "Phil" sadly lost his life. His nephew, who had been in the same vehicle, survived due to the swift medical attention received by the attendance of the EAAA, and is alive to this day.
