Apologies for the long wait. I understand if this is useless now, but I thought it should at least be published.
Nothing I say here is to be taken as the 'truth', just directions in which one could go to improve on the pieces or push the intended emotion.
In fact, months later even I would change things, particularly with the first piece. In that one I think the ideal would be to study moody urban photography to understand what makes it great. It is often the case that these scenes rely a lot on some sort of harmony of clashing elements (bright neon/halogen lights). As I mentioned, artists like GUWEIZ would be great to reference and study, along with Atey Ghailan and other artists with similar sensibilities.
I'm sad I didn't focus enough on advice on how to move forward and ended up being a bit too prescriptive. It was my first time doing something like this, but I believe writing a script first would have been a better idea. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.
If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to let me know.
