Reuben Nehikhare , or as he likes to call himself, the 'Minister of Enjoyment' joins Nick & Mani on the YoGeez podcast. We talk about balance, race, new beginnings and why it's important we all try and find a space to be able to talk freely.
We've all been through those moments, where we starting something new, moving to a new place. Often during these times is when our health and wellbeing take a bit of a side role as we try to navigate everything else. We walk about the importance of staying balance, how the source (our family, our childhood) can help bring us back to centre.
We also talk about race and how Reuben and his family were often the only non-white people where he was living. We talk about how that affected him growing up and what it felt like at the time.
We then talk about his career and how he's a big supporter of supporting black businesses and hosts events to bring people together.
Also importantly, how we all need that space, that time, that hobby that helps free our mind up and talk more openly.
