Hey peeps!
In this video, I wanted to put some light on problems I recently had with my email marketing campaign when some of my emails were marked as spam due to using free shorten URL software.
As I'm promoting Big Bang Ads, Share a Sale and some other affiliate programs I'm usually getting some ugly affiliate links that scream "scam" and I really don't feel comfy sharing these links directly with my audience.
I've been using Pretty links, WordPress Affiliate URL Shortener Plugin for a while now but some of my old cloaked links were still with bit.ly so I used them in one of my broadcast-ed emails.
Sure enough - emails got marked as SPAM and that was warning message for me - so I learnt the reason was URL shortener and that brought me to this video, where I'm teaching you how to cloak affiliate links the right way!
