In this talk, José Barbón (IFT-UAM/CSIC) studies correspondences between the rate of complexity growth and the degree of gravitational clumping in the bulk within the holographic Complexity=Volume proposal, quantified as an average infall momentum. He shows that such a connection is largely implicit in the CV proposal through the momentum constraint of GR. He also discusses generalisations of these momentum/complexity relations, as well as some topological obstructions. (Work in collaboration with J. Martin-Garcia and M. Sasieta).

The Virtual Seminar Series “GQFI-Warsaw String Theory” (GQFI-WST) is a joint initiative between the strings/holography groups at the Albert Einstein Institute (AEI) in Potsdam and the University Warsaw. The calendar for upcoming GQFI-WST seminars can be found here: https://gqfi.aei.mpg.de/node/3.
