Hello! The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is known as one of the world's largest aquariums and its central star is the elusive whale shark. The tank it resides in holds a whopping 5,400 tons of water and is 9m deep.

5-min walk from Osakako Station on the Chuo Subway Line
🕒 OPENING HOURS/ADMISSION TIMES:
Around 9.30am - 8pm*
Opening hours are subject to change and varies depending on the day/period so it's best to check the website in advance.
Last Entrance one hour before the closing time.
📌 TICKET PRICE
Adults (16 and above): ¥2,700 (adults)
Kids/teens: ¥1,400 (7 - 15 y/o) // ¥700 (3 - 6 y/o)
2 y/o and below: free
*Tickets with added access such as "backstage viewing (feeding time or without)" start from ¥2,400.
