This is our straight forward guide on how to obtain the Technical Backpack in The Long Dark.
Once you enter Ash Canyon from Timberwolf Mountain, you can follow this guide directly.
TIPS:
Bring enough supplies to last you 3 days to be safe. Ash Canyon is quite cold and hostile, so bring a rifle, revolver or bow to keep you safe!
Bring a mountaineering rope!
Consume coffee prior to climbing the mountaineering ropes required to reach the Technical Backpack.
Stop at the Angler's Den during your adventure if necessary!
