Esports Camp Facilitator Guide to Creating a Community
Establishing a gamer community that is welcoming and supportive is one of the key reasons for the camp. Toxicity exists to "some" level in many games. Gamers can become numb to this and accept as normal. The intent here is to empower gamers to experience a healthy and positive community of their own design. Living in this setup can help transfer the same ideas in their play outside of the camp if we diligently practice and use the camp tools.
