Between making "Resolution" (which was completed in December 2013) and "Hold Back the River" (completed in April 2017), I watched 450+ old movies!! THAT'S A LOT OF OLD MOVIES!! Aside from wanting to brag (I'm pretty impressed with myself), the real reason I wanted to share this with you is so you can understand the thinking behind "Hold Back the River". Basically I felt compelled to create something that was representative of the 450+ old movies that weren't featured in "Lovers in Japan", "Resolution" and "Home". While it hurt my soul to leave out classics like "City Lights", "Notorious" and "Casablanca", I really wanted to include as many new films as was humanly possible and (HOPEFULLY) create something totally different from the classic movie couples videos I've made in years past. I really hope you guys like it and discover a few new/old films in the process! xx
