Today’s content is an increased focus on Chromebook which brings us to Chromebook Tips: How To Sort Your App Drawer!
These videos are very short and to the point so you can try these tips immediately.
All things said… Let's go ahead… And get into it!
So here we are on the Asus Vibe CX55 Flip Chromebook.
We are going to start by looking for the launcher icon. Now if you are listening to this video, that’s going to the circle in the bottom left hand corner.
If we click on it, this draws up an app drawer.
We can then press and hold alt while clicking the trackpad.
This displays a pop-up menu where we’ll have the option Sort by at the very bottom.
If we hover over this option, we have a side menu that extends out and shows our two sorting options.
These include Sort by Name and Sort by Color.
Personally, I prefer to Sort by Name because it seems much more logical to me; all items will be alphabetized.
However, sorting by color is interesting in the sense that it creates layers of color consistency in your app drawer.
Interesting enough, if you select either option, and don’t like it, there is a tile that lets your know the sort type you selected and it’s accompanied by an Undo button.
