What is going on everyone?! Leon checkin’ in! Welcome to the channel!
Today we are here to talk about gaming on a Chromebook, which is getting surprisingly better. I’ll be showing several gaming configurations and games.
Hardware:
I’ll be using my Pixelbook which is one of the best Chromebooks you can buy at the time this video was made.
My Pixelbook specs:
7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor
8GB RAM
128 Solid State Drive
We will be pairing the Nvidia Shield Android TV Gamepad with the Pixelbook, since it’s the best controller I’ve used at the time with a Chromebook. I’ll post a video link in the top right hand corner featuring a playlist just about gaming on a Chromebook. In this playlist, I have tried several gamepads and games.
You can purchase the Nvidia Shield Android TV on Amazon here:

Games
There are quite a few games that be played on a Chromebook using a gamepad.
Today we will be focusing on just 3:
Shadow Gun Legends
Asphalt Xtreme
Dead Trigger 2
Cons
The gamepad does not seem to work outside of games. This means you can’t currently use the game to navigate menus how you would on an Android device. In this video we will show this.
While the games are responding better to the Nvidia Shield Gamepad and there is less remapping that has to be done, you may have to go through gamepad remapping in individual games to get the gamepad to work just how you would like.
Bonus
Using a USB-C to HDMI adapter such as the Moshi I review, you can connect your Chromebook to a TV or a projector for an even better gaming experience.
