Toronto Profiles Project: Fight Director and Stunt Coordinator Simon Fon
Meet Simon Fon, a professional stunt choreographer who has taught over thousands of people from Ontario and in the States, over the past 18 years! He has coached and performed with Martin Short, Rachel McAdams, Dave Foley and many more!
Simon has 600 professional credits from films, television, and stage! Some of his credits include;Burning Daylight, Wanted, Fare Trade and Golden Boys.Recently, Simon worked on Disney’s Power Rangers in Training!
Simon is specialized in weaponry, aerial flying and unarmed combat. He is a member of Fight Directors Canada and the Executive Director and Founder of RIOT A.C.T. Simon has earned 17 nominations and 8 awards, including Male Action Performer of the Year 2009 AOF Festival - California!
Simon worked as a Stunt Coordinator and Fight Director at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival from 2009- 2012! He teaches at the University of Toronto, George Brown and York University! Simon provides private coaching lessons, from beginners in training to professional stunt choreographers!
