Melbourne Gold is a Scottish Country Dance devised by Ian Marks. Here it is danced by members of Stonnington Scottish Country Dancers in Melbourne, Australia.

“The Dancer’s Wedding”, from ‘The Millennium Dances (Book 41)
played by David Cunningham and his Scottish Dance Band.
Dance Instructions are:
1-8 1s cross right hand, then, cast I place, dance ½ figure 8 around 2s
& pass left shoulder to face 1st corners.
9-16 1s dance ½ diagonal reel with 1st corners, ½ diagonal reel with 2nd corners.
1s finish facing 3rd corner positions.
17-24 1s dance “corners pass and twirl” with 3rd corner positions,
Pass right shoulder and repeat with 4th corner positions.
1s finish 2nd place own sides.
25-32 1s dance reels of 3 on the sides, (1W&3W,1M&2M)
passing left shoulder to begin.

Corners advance, turn by the right halfway, pull right shoulder back and dance out to exchange places.
