The Shadow of Khazad dum
Fleshing out my Character Artist skills,
So here is a recent Character Concept Art piece I've completed, animated and brokedown; of the Balrog and Gandalf from the LOTR Series!
I was inspired to make this art piece for a friend, after reading the Lord of the Rings Books; In which I found the Balrogs description was quite different from the film depiction(Both being Awesome). So here is my Take on this character from the Books and the Encounter as a Whole.

This project includes the use of:
Zbrush - Mid poly and High poly for the Weapon
Autodesk Maya - Low Poly and UV's for the Weapon
Photoshop - Where the artpiece came to fruition.
After Effects - Animating the BG; Match lighting and Compositing.
Premiere Pro - Project Assembly, Breakdown assembly and audio editing.
Midjourney - A fantastic tool to brainstorm ideas using different precise input commands; until you are satisfied with the result - This was used for the initial background and Base of the image, Which you can see in the Breakdown.
