~Translation notes~
(Prefise: I did this use Google translate and mind bending skills so some of this translation may be incorrect)
First dialogue:
"レーション コンプヲチユ !! おめでと コ ンプリート"
(Rēshon konpuwochiyu! ! O-me de to ko npurīto)
So other than congratulations (O-me de) this is all in katakana, meaning that this sentence is literally phonetically spelling "ration chamption" & "on completion". For this I somehow could figure out what order to say this in for some reason??? So I just put ration chamption last, hopefully that's correct.
Second dialogue:
いかがでした? 航想などぜひきかせてねー
(Ikagadeshita? Kō sō nado zehi kikasete ne ̄)
This sentence had another way it could've been translated with "how was it? Please let us know your thoughts!". But it felt weird? And also it more commonly translated to "please tell me about ypur voyages). Again, I couldn't tell where exsactly the "how was it?" was supposed to go. Like it feel more nautral coming second but idk I think it's supposed to come first.
Third dialogue:
いいなさいよ!なんとが あんたも 失札ねー ちょっと
(Ī nasai yo! Nanto ga anta mo shitsu-satsu ne ̄ chotto)
So "ī nasai yo" was pretty consistently translated as "say it" so I fell confident in that. However the second part of this dialogue is very weird. I forgot exsactly how I got "what happened to you", but I also got a lot of translations about getting lost and loosing somthing. So I think it can also be translated as "say it! What do you have to lose?".... actually that might be more accurate... my bad...
Fourth dialogue:
(Dela) 主人公なのに セリフが無いのでフテているよーです
(Shujinkōnanoni Serifu ga nainode futete iru yo ̄desu)
"Shujinkōnanoni" has a pretty consistent translation of "even thought he's the main character". However, again it's the second part that gets weird. It seems to translate to their generally being no lines but I some of the time it still specifies "he" has no lines. Secondly sometimes it translates to "I'm so crazy" though meaning "he's so crazy". You may ask where does "weird" come from? Answer is my brain. Yeah I know that isn't an exsact translation but it sounds super weird to say crazy and I'm pretty sure they were intending on saying somthing more like weird
(Varik) かおもでないしねーあっはっはー かおもでないしね 顔文字
(Kao mo denaishi ne ̄ ahhawwa Kao mo denaishi ne Kao moji)
Dispite the fact google wouldn't translate "あつあつ" as laughing, if you read the romanji It clearly is so I translated it as so. Additionally it was translate it like "I am not a big deal" or "I am not the main" or even "it's not" and then have "kao moji" translated as "emoticon"..... whatever that means.... so I don't really know what Varik is trying to say. I mean I get the concept he is laughing off the fact he says nothing in any of the games but I dunno exsactly what he is saying. Sorry 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
Fith dialogue:
さようなら それでは
(Sayōnara soredewa)
Simple, just translates to goodbye. Though I considered saying it as sayonara in the video because most people know that means goodbye, but ultimately I didn't. Also I thonk "goodbye now" would sound better an english speaker but "goodbye then" is probably more accurate.
Bubble text:
おわい
(O wai)
Literally just translates to "wow". That's why I put the funny meme sound.
Dela's shirt:
ど
(Do)
I have no clue why do is just randomly on dela's shirt. I'm assuming it has to be some kinda Japanese culutral joke I don't get. I would assume it would be some kinda joke on how she basically wears lingerie throughout the whole game exsept in this cutscene, or mabey because the sprite artists where to lazy to draw her body in this scene? Thougb it could be joke on her name idk.
Thanks for reading!! Please let me know how well I did translating and if there are any inaccuracies!! Bye now!!
