It's been 7 years since my last album. So I'm making a new one.
Time’s going by even slower more than I
Had thought was capable, feasible, reasonable
I was told that life flashes right before our eyes
Ain’t no holding on, slowing down little did I know
Meeting you would make me feel that way
There’s something in your eyes I can’t explain
In the bedside table there’s a pearl handled pistol
By morning we could be two states away
With my gun and your looks
We’ll write our names in the history books
I forget who I was ‘fore you arrived
My heartbeat moves quickly
Every time that you’re around me
Since I met you now I’m always on the high
And when we go they’ll know our battle cry
All these promises of hope seem the easy way to go
Am I better than what I’ve said and who I was
Always heard that life’s for the taking so let’s try
Grabbing cash, moving fast, and moving on
