Prayer: NO SPIRIT BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!
Ephesians 2:10 10
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
I felt the Lord was saying
They don't just need teaching to help them academically understand
Nor do they merely need a flash of excitement to light the flickering wick of emotionalism.
Nor do they simply need to be provoked through preaching to march them forward
today is not about understanding more.
-today is not about emotional motivation
-today is not about a preaching charge.
WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF FEAR?
Body:
Romans 8:12-16
12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
2 Timothy 1:7
7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
On the contrary:
Psalm 86:10-12 but one of many examples
10 For you are great and do wondrous things;
you alone are God.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name.
12 I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart,
and I will glorify your name forever.
WHAT IS THE FEAR OF THE LORD? Am I COWERING SCARED? NO!
ITS REVEREING, HONORING HIM ABOVE ALL!

What does the spirit of fear do to us vs the fear of the lord?
The fear of the Lord gives wisdom & knowledge -Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
The fear of the Lord is a propulsion toward turning from evil -Proverbs 3:7
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
In fact, the fear of the Lord IS the hatred of evil -Proverbs 8:13
The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil....
The fear of the Lord prolongs life! -Proverbs 10:27
The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short.
AND The fear of the Lord is the fountain of life -Proverbs 14:27
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.
The fear of the Lord leads to rest and life! -Proverbs 19:23
The fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.
The fear of the Lord and humility leads to riches -Proverbs 22:4
The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.
The fear of the Lord leads to humility which leads to honor -Proverbs 15:33
The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.
The fear of the Lord causes strong confidence! -Proverbs 14:26
In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.
SOME OF US ARE HELD BACK FROM MAKING A DIFFERENCE NOT BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE GIFTS AND CALL OF GOD IN OUR POEM, BUT BECAUSE WE’VE ALLOWED FEAR TO STOP US!

1 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
