Since 2021, I have been in the process of conceptualizing my fourth solo album: El Puente del Arzobispo. An album which to this day I am still working on. It was to be my most ambitious album yet. Taking the classical music from my home country Spain and fusing it with experimental styles of music: psychedelia, avant-garde, sound collage, etc. It was meant to be a concept album detailing my early childhood in which I spent a lot of time in the town called El Puente del Arzobispo (The Archbishop's Bridge).
In the summer of 2022, I was in the process of recording an early iteration of the album that combined my original compositions with samples from famous spanish composers like Francisco Tárrega & Fernando Sor (as they were a very significant part of my childhood). However, my ambitious scope got the best of me, and I felt that what I had was not good enough in the slighest to finish, so I scrapped it completely (this is the album you're now hearing).
To this day, I am still working on El Puente del Arzobispo, and I will not release it until it is 100% perfect. (None of the songs from this album will appear on the final version)
