We have joined up with Derbyshire Gamekeeper Pete Royston to bring you this film of distinction.
While most people are tucked up in bed at night Pete Royston (and his son Matt) can be found tending 9,000 acres of land. Pete is responsible for 1,500 Pheasants and 330 Partridge. In this season, Charlie (the foxes) has made his mark by killing a large quantity of young Partridges and over 50 mature Pheasants. Its Pete Royston’s job to keep the local fox population to a manageable level, so as the combine harvesters do their job, and drop the cover, the true numbers of foxes can be assessed and accounted for. On average we witnessed between 12 & 18 foxes each night we filmed .
Using a Heavy barrel Tikka Sporter 223 and Tasco scope Pete (or Matt) dispatched the foxes whenever they had a clear shot. If you like you’re hunting; this is the film for you. Foxes dispatched (humanely) by crack shots who know their job.
