How To Install Adguard-Home On Linux | Latest Version

Step 1: Install Snap :
Install Snap(Ubuntu(Most Ubuntu Flavours, Kubuntu..)Elementary OS, KdeNeon,..) :
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Install Snap On Debian :
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install core
Install Snap On Linux Mint :
Snap is available for Linux Mint 18.2 (Sonya), Linux Mint 18.3 (Sylvia), Linux Mint 19 (Tara), Linux Mint 19.1 (Tessa) and the latest releases, Linux Mint 20 (Ulyana). You can find out which version of Linux Mint you’re running by opening System info from the Preferences menu. On Linux Mint 20, /etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref needs to be removed before Snap can be installed. This can be accomplished from the command line :
sudo rm /etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref
sudo apt update
Install Snap :
sudo apt install snapd
Install Snap On Fedora :
sudo dnf install snapd
To enable classic snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between /var/lib/snapd/snap and /snap :
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
Install Snap On Manjaro :
sudo pacman -S snapd
Once installed, the systemd unit that manages the main snap communication socket needs to be enabled:
sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socket
To enable classic snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between /var/lib/snapd/snap and /snap:
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
Install Snap On OpenSuse :
Swap out openSUSE_Leap_15.2 for openSUSE_Leap_15.1, openSUSE_Leap_15.0, or openSUSE_Tumbleweed if you’re using a different version of openSUSE.With the repository added, import its GPG key :
sudo zypper --gpg-auto-import-keys refresh
Finally, upgrade the package cache to include the new snappy repository :
sudo zypper dup --from snappy
Snap can now be installed with the following :
sudo zypper install snapd
You then need to either reboot, logout/login or source /etc/profile to have /snap/bin added to PATH. Additionally, enable and start both the snapd and the snapd.apparmor services with the following commands :
sudo systemctl enable snapd
sudo systemctl start snapd
Tumbleweed users also need to run the following :
sudo systemctl enable snapd.apparmor
sudo systemctl start snapd.apparmor
Install Snap On CentOS :
Snap is available for CentOS 7.6+, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6+, from the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL) repository. The EPEL repository can be added to your system with the following command :
sudo yum install epel-release
Snap can now be installed as follows :
sudo yum install snapd
Once installed, the systemd unit that manages the main snap communication socket needs to be enabled:sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socketTo enable classic snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between /var/lib/snapd/snap and /snap :
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

To install AdGuard Home, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install adguard-home
