Seed germination can be a hit and miss experience. For newbies, over watering of potting medium coupled with lack of ideal temperature can cause failure in vegetable seeds sprouting. This has been my go to germination holy grail method lately, provided you have this self irrigation pot. You could DIY a similar version or you can also use self irrigation pots for the same result.
