About the presenter:
Eoin McGrath, Geological Survey Ireland

Founded in 1845, is Ireland's public earth science knowledge centre and is a division of the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. Within the Construction Products Regulations, Geological Survey Ireland is the National Competent Authority for Aggregates. Within this space, the Survey works on multiple projects within an overall Irish Construction Materials umbrella.

Eoin McGrath is a Professional Geologist within the Survey. He has a wide range of experience across academia, industry and government sectors and joined the Survey in 2018 to head up the Minerals Programme. Work at present includes technical support on geogenic construction materials for other government stakeholders, including the Dept. of Housing, NBCMSO and NSAI.
