LaCabra talks MR BULLY: album title, cover art, CDs, A-Reece, and Nasty C
This past Thursday, on the eve of his debut album release, LaCabra hosted fans and media at Jozi Gold Brewing Company in Braamfontein for an exclusive listening session. The day before, he was in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, giving fans in his hometown a similar experience. We attended the Jozi edition and managed to gain some insight into the Qwellers frontman’s debut, MR BULLY.
In our interview with The Bully, who was concise in his answers, he opened up about the album’s title, its cover art and the limited-edition souvenir CDs - both extensions of his collaboration with photographer Blue Swahn. He also spoke about the dream-come-true guest appearances from South African hip-hop’s Big 2, A-Reece and Nasty C, on his debut album.
