Let's Design a Power Supply! - Buck-Boost Converter - Part 1
In this series I am going through the design of a simple power supply for my development needs. I am going to integrate a voltage source of AA Cells, 5V USB input, and Li-Po rechargeable Battery.
The PCB will produce a stable 3.3 Vdc, 5 Vdc, and 12 Vdc which should meet most development needs in a easy to use package and include a recharging circuit for rechargeable batteries.
4 parallel AA cells can have a voltage range from 3.6 Vdc up to 6.4 Vdc.
This video focuses on turning the USB and AA Cell Voltage to 5 Vdc.
