GOOGLE SITE TIPS
TIPS:
1. GIF BANNER: I use the size 1200px by 800px and no more than 6.5 seconds.
2. Never set the home page to "Home". Change it to something SEO friendly.
3. First 150 characters after the header is your website description for Google Sites.
4. The circle images were done in canva, exported as PNG and you can use https://squoosh.app/ to reduce the image size.
5. Call to actions should say something different for each action to reduce redundant text.
6. Watch out of accessibility with redundant links.
7. You can screenshot images from your instagram to add to your footer. Be sure to link the actual post to the image and not just to your instagram.
8. The vertical lines in the footer are created with HTML.
9. Select keywords for your SEO to be bold. Not too many as that hurts your seo. It is not required, but it can help your site rank.
