Found video on an old hard drive from 2016. Just a few riffs I put together during an unfortunate time of my life.
I went to see my doctor about one thing and then it lead to another. Initially, my query was "hey doc why are my hands so sweaty? it's become really painful and interfering with my my ability to play guitar" upon further inspection he discovered a 2.5cm growth on my thyroid.
it was suspected to be cancer but luckily, due to discovering it when we did it hadn't reached that stage but was very close to becoming celluar. I had a follicular neoplasm, the biggest my surgeon had seen on a thyroid that hadn't yet mutated and became cancerous.
He said if I had of been treated for this only 5 to 10 years prior I would have had to have undergone chemotherapy but thanks to medical advances, they were able to remove half the thyroid and I made a full recovery.
Having these discussions with your doctor in combination with (at the time) undiagnosed adhd, I panicked and thought I was going to die.
It's kind of sad to think that this short song was my last hoorah considering how incredibly lazy this song is ahaha the mix is atrocious but hey, the riffs are pretty cool, listening back, my opinion of it now is "it jams"
Heavily inspired by The Acacia Strain and Humanity's Last Breath (although, I dont really hear either of those bands) they championed my inspiration at the time and got me through some dark days.
Tyler.
