Thiruvali-Thirunagari Thai Amavasai Utsavam.
On the occasion of Thai Amavasai 3 days festival,procession of Sri Thirumangai azhwar starts from Thirunagari at midnight to do Mangalasasanam for various Divyadesam’s around Nangur. On the continuous programme of first day afternoon, this Manjal kuli uthsavam is been celebrated . In this Manjalkuli uthsavam, Azhwar does mangalasasanam to Srirangam and Thirunarayur(Nachiyar kovil) divyadesams. Following the recitation of "Thulangu Neel mudi" and "Kulayarndha pazhukaayum" pasurams of the two divyadesams by standing in the banks "Manikaranikai" which is the branch of river Kaveri, the bahumanams(offerings) of Srirangam and Thirunarayur emberumans been given to azhwar.
