I TRADED Cards with an MLB SUPERSTAR!
This was one of the most unexpected and exciting moments in my card collecting journey! I recently traded cards with none other than Nick Loftin of the Kansas City Royals. After pulling a rare Golden Mirror Image variation card, I posted it on eBay, and it sold... to Nick Loftin himself!
We started messaging, and I decided to refund his money as a gesture of goodwill. What happened next was truly amazing: Nick agreed to trade, and to my surprise, he added a huge bonus-a personalized autograph from him AND an autographed card from one of his MLB Superstar teammates!
This experience has been one of the most memorable moments of my collecting career. It's a reminder of the incredible surprises and connections that can happen in the sports card world.
